Dear Team—

I know you all just wrapped up your meeting - I hope you’re as excited as I am with the recent updates. Previously I shared you all a note, I expressed the following: “I believe in this group. You all are some of the most motivated and talented developers we have had the pleasure to work with - and we’re excited for that collaboration to continue.”

Through your commitment and flexibility, particularly over the last year, you consistently demonstrate that.

The gamer responses from last autumn’s the game playtest was enlightening. It affirmed the appeal of a roguelike shooter but made clear we still had improvements to make. It uncovered the need for a sharper vision.

It has been motivating to see how far you’ve progressed. You accepted the input to mind and revamped Project ETHOS with a refreshed direction - one that’s ready to achieve its potential to our players.

Our confidence in Project ETHOS grows every day. To boost the remarkable development you’ve made, It is a pleasure to introduce the new hire as the new Studio Head of 31st Union. After some time of discussions, he starts with us on the specified date.

His management and experience in the competitive gaming field is extensive, having devoted the past decade and a half creating and leading some of the most recognizable series in gaming, such as the acclaimed shooter, and most recently, Apex Legends.

I invite you all in welcoming Ben next week. We are all looking forward to persist seeing the evolution of the game in the weeks to ahead.
